12 things to do this weekend: Program Council Film Series starting back up and more - CU Boulder Today

This weekend brings a Valentine’s grab-and-go, imposter syndrome workshop, sustainability events, trivia night, a screening of Christopher Nolan’s latest blockbuster Tenet and more.

Friday, Feb. 19

10–11 a.m.   Zoom
Have you ever felt like you were out of place? That you didn’t belong? Maybe others around you seemed to know everything and appeared to have it all together and have all the answers. In this workshop, led by BOLD Center Director Tanya Ennis, participants will explore the concept of imposter syndrome and discuss ways of overcoming it.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. C4C, Room N320
Come pick up a bag of self-care goodies to keep celebrating self-love and community love!

 12:15–12:45 p.m.  Virtual
Take a 30-minute break and be part of a mindfulness activity. Undo stress, soothe your nervous system and come relax. You’ll learn a few skills on how to begin your meditation journey—no experience necessary! Be sure to register to participate.

 5 p.m. Instagram Live
Join the Zero Waste Outreach Team on their Instagram page for a live zero waste DIY life hack that you can add to your daily habits to reduce your environmental impact. Don’t forget to follow the CU Zero Waste Instagram account and tune in for this event.

 5–7 p.m  Zoom
Bring your poetry, monologues, scenes, songs, art and improv sketches for a night of performance and community building. This event aims to center BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) voices, and the voices of other marginalized communities. Register now.

 5:30 p.m. Zoom
This is not a class, a lecture, or a panel. This is a guided conversation and a place for students who are looking for a like-minded community of peers who are active in furthering their knowledge in the ever-changing world of climate change. It’s about learning how to make the world a better place through your expertise and care for the planet.

 6:15 p.m. Virtual
Do you know random facts you’re eager to share? Come put your skills to the test in a unique virtual experience full of trivia. You can have your camera on or off, or even join from your computer or phone. Better yet, you’ll be competing for prizes, and you might have a chance to meet some new people along the way. Make sure to register for this fun-filled event!

 8 p.m.  Chem 140
Bring your popcorn, grab a friend and watch Christopher Nolan’s latest blockbuster hit about a secret agent who has to travel through time to prevent World War III.

Saturday, Feb. 20

 9:30–10:30 a.m.  Zoom
