If, in this year of an entirely online Cleveland International Film Festival, you find yourself missing that analog program guide, you have a new option for getting information about films you might want to see.
The 45th edition of the film festival, known as CIFF45 Streams, has introduced a downloadable, printer-friendly, A-Z listing of films that are available for viewing during the festival's April 7-20 run.
To download the PDF guide, go here. It will give you, in close approximation to the traditional printed festival guide, an overview of the 116 feature films and 182 shorts that are part of this year's 14-day festival. Nearly half of the films — 46% — are made by women filmmakers.
Tickets and what CIFF45 Streams calls Virtual Voucher packs went on sale Friday, March 26, at clevelandfilm.org. Ticket prices for films are $8 per film for CIFF members and $10 for nonmembers.
Information about membership is here. Two of the three membership levels — the $250 Binge Watcher and the $1,500 Super Streamer — include all-access passes to CIFF45 Streams films. (Binge Watcher doesn't include access to the Opening Night film, "Together Together," sponsored by Dollar Bank, and there are other benefits if you're a Super Streamer.)
Most films in this year's lineup will be accessible nationwide. CIFF said films will available on demand, on a first-come, first-served basis, through the end of the festival.
CIFF45 Streams also will include filmmaker conversations and Q&As, audience voting, filmmaker awards, the annual Challenge Match, podcast episodes, new merchandise and more.
